Are your products eco-friendly? 
We're an eco-conscious brand, mindful of the impact we have on our environment as we're keen on helping to make it a healthy and happy place for our little ones to grow up on.  We print on FSC Certified paper stock, our learning flash cards are finished with biodegradable laminate, our wooden accessories are cut from FSC Certified natural birch plywood and all of our packaging is either recycled, recyclable, biodegradable or compostable. We've written some more here about the materials we use for each product.

Where are your products made? 
We are a small online store based in the UK. All of our own Paper & Bean range of products are designed and made in the UK. We use printing companies with strong green credentials that follow our own eco-conscious values, and we work with other small businesses to bring our wooden product designs to life! The other brands that we stock have been carefully curated from around the world. We find lovely brands that follow our values and bring you the most beautiful, sustainable products that you and your little ones can enjoy!

Do you ship outside of the UK?
We currently only ship to the United Kingdom but please message us if you are looking to place an order and live outside of the UK and we can look into postage costs for you.

How much does postage cost?
FREE Standard (2-4 working days) on all orders over £30
£4.50 Standard (2-4 working days)
£5.50 Express (1-3 working days)

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and Apple Pay.

How long will my order take to arrive?
All orders are sent using a tracked service with Royal Mail and are dispatched within 2 working days with a 2-4 working day delivery time from the day of dispatch.

How can I track my order?
Once we have shipped your order, we'll send you a dispatch email which will include your tracking number - either click the link or copy and paste that number into Royal Mail's Track & Trace service.

I'm not happy with my order. Can I return it?
This isn't something we like to hear but if you've changed your mind, haven't used the item and it's in the same condition you received it in, no worries. Please email jen@paperandbean.co.uk within 3 days of receipt if you wish to return an item. Your name and address will need to be included within your return to enable it to be processed. Return postage will need to be a recorded or tracked service - Paper & Bean cannot be held responsible for any lost return items. The cost of the return will be the customer's responsibility.

Where did the name Paper & Bean come from? 
One of our values at Paper & Bean is about being content with the little things, and that's just how the name came about in the first place; the enjoyment of sitting with a book or magazine (Paper) with a coffee in hand (Bean). It's as simple as that!
